I’ve been clearing out my cupboards today, and stumbled across this. It’s a pre-packaged photo viewer - you slide the lever on the side, look through the viewfinder, and there’s a series of photographs from Disneyland Paris on a reel inside. It’s rickety. It barely works.

I wonder if they sell these anymore. I’d guess not. I had just got my first digital camera when we went to Paris - one so old that there was only a viewfinder, with a monochromatic screen that only displayed the battery level (always plummeting) and how many photos you had left (around twenty). No doubt curios like this were on their way out back then, too. Still. It’s an odd little reminder of when I was a kid. I think I might keep it.
