Sort of, but not really.

I’ve been picking through the book over the last few weeks, excising the shit lines, and adding good ones, and generally making what I hope are improvements, and I got to the last page today. I still need to copy it all into the document itself, and then I’m planning to go over and add to the description and general sense of place, because I still think it’s a little lacking in that respect.

This is still a milestone, though. Everything else now is just embellishment - I have a few people who’ve agreed to help edit it once I’m comfortable, and I’ll be sending it to the first of them soon. Maybe it’ll be done by Christmas. We’ll see. The biggest lesson I’ve had to learn this year is that things always take longer than you expect, but I’m happy with the speed at which I’m progressing with this. It all helps.
