This only takes about 90 minutes to complete, but it’s delightful for those 90 minutes - it often reminded me of Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery, but this omits the hipster-y quirkiness in favour of something altogether more earnest. The puzzles around which the game revolves (often literally) are on a perfectly graded curve, escalating in difficulty so that nothing stops you in your tracks, but every solution feels like an achievement. Adding to all of this is an incredible art style and impeccable sound design; by the time the game’s over, it feels far more worthwhile than other games that feature much longer running times. It’s small, but perfectly crafted. It’s also currently an iOS exclusive - get it here.
