Played: Year Walk

The less said about this game’s plot, the better, but it’s spellbinding and brilliant and definitely deserves to be given a chance. It’s made by Simogo, the same people who made Bumpy Road and Beat Sneak Bandit, but it’s an altogether different beast - it delves into Swedish folklore, and is mostly defined by its narrative experience than in player skill. All that said, it’s still definitely a game - there are puzzles you’ll need a pen and paper for, and a world to explore, and a lot of stuff to soak up. You can get the game and the (essential, free) companion app on the App Store, and you absolutely should.
